A 1-1 draw with Ross County saw the Hoops celebrate their third consecutive Scottish Premiership title after losing just once all season so far.

Celtic still have six league games to play this campaign, but Lennon is already thinking about the future and will speak to Parkhead bosses about taking the club forward.

"I'm meeting Peter (Lawwell) and Dermot (Desmond) here next week and we'll go over the budget and what the next five years hold," he told the Sunday Mail.

"Basically the board work that way, a five-year strategy. We're getting round to that again.

"We have frank and open discussions and it's always pretty healthy. Dermot's satisfied with the way things are going and has his finger on the pulse of the club.

"I think we're on the same lines. Don't get me wrong, it's not about my elevation - it's about me elevating Celtic.

"They're the same. It's not about Dermot's elevation, Peter's reputation or anything like that, it's about the security and the future of the club.

"They have all the information in front of them and that's the way they lead the club."

Lennon also admitted that the squad will need major investment in order to better themselves in the Champions League after crashing out at the group stages this year.

"It's £250m at that level - Man City can't do it, they've only made the last 16 once," he said.

"Looking at the latter half of our Champions League campaign this year, we need a bit of extra investment in the squad in terms of quality.

"I want Champions League football every year and to do that we need to bring players in. I have a good core here that I'm very happy with. I just need to add a bit of quality, a few faces.

"Will they throw me a bone? They might. That would be nice.

"Whether you think the board are pragmatic or not, they are very smart. They will go about it the right way and I will be involved in those talks."

enteke is an absolute steal for £32.5m, he would get into any team in the world (except Barcelona) at the moment. I've seen many very good strikers in my 30+ years as a Villa fan. This guy is the best without question.
