It's easy to mock Arsenal for being happy with fourth, but Nick Miller...

Arsene Wenger has challenged his Arsenal team to concentrate on themselves and not what Bayern Munich are capable of ahead of Tuesday's game.
he day Tonys hat goes missing for some bantz will be different story altogether..
m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!
Alan Pardew is 'pretty confident' he will stay as Newcastle manager after ending the season with a defeat by Arsenal.
Retiring Stoke striker Michael Owen admitted he had mixed emotions after his final appearance for the club.
Paul Lambert refused to answer questions about the future of Darren Bent following Aston Villa's 2-2 draw at Wigan.
He is one of a number of solid shouts for players that look old before their time. We also have the final words on lovely D-Beck and a rejection of end of season playoffs...
That's one opinion, but others give their thanks to the man. We also have ideas for a relegation playoff, happy memories of the season and a defence of Liverpool's campaign...

Of course the whole point is to win trophies. But in the end, it's not about AFC not winning trophies. It's the frustration of having the cash and still trying to do it on the cheap. It's the frustration of selling your best players year after year (to your rivals?!!? Would ManUre sell anyone to another team in the top half of the EPL table?!). It's the frustration of buying at very last moment of a transfer window when buying early might cost a bit more, but you would have had a month or more for the players to gel with their teammates.

i would love it If Arsenal wins tonight. M not a huge wenger fan, but i think its better for Arsenal to win against Bayern than to win against Blackburn.

@wheresmyhair77 -the ball hit hard enough to van persies face/temple/neck could have caused serious harm, if you weren't ever hit hard before i'd say after your comment there you probably deserve it - so give it a go and see where your marbles are afterwards. lastly, arsenal fans should at this stage have had enough of arsene wenger, a club of that size not even coming close to silverware for so long is bordering on ridiculous - time for a new management team in my opinion

Poor old Arsene gets a raw deal from fans, press and everyone really. He's like the fella in those End of the world / Zombie movies (think Will Smith in I Am legend) who's come through the apocalypse making the very best of the limited resources available to him. Now he spends the whole day killing zombies and feeling really pleased with himself for being the last survivor. meanwhile, we're giving him grief for not restarting the human race, reinventing space flight and finding a cure for Abou Diaby. Arsene - You Are Legend.

@vaseline gang. Fully agree with you mate. @Griff, When I see Wenger launch into a Joe Kinnear-easce expletive-laden rant, then I'd concur.

Claiming Van Persie might have been killed was someone loosing their marbles. This was someone calling the Sun liars. Guess what. The Sun have been proven by a year long parliamentary commission and several continuing legal cases, to be liars.

Yes AW seems to be cracking under the pressure but I think he is due some respect from the media in press conferences. Unlike some managers, he has never banned anyone from his press conferences, never sworn at anyone and always answered whatever questions were put to him - from sport to politics. His time may be up (and I think it probably is) but that doesn't mean we lose all respect for him.
