This guy has been a fantastic player whole his career, But i am not sure a game where Real Madrid will be playing with so much intensity Giggs would be starting, Just look where Barcelona failed when they lost the ball in Real Madrid's territory and the counter attack was devastating, I hope we don't play to their strengths and over commit....

He's been our most creative player just recently, the range and accuracy of his passing has been outstanding. I've been slagging him off all season to my mates, but fairs fair, he's been brilliant for the last month and i'd be really happy if Fergie starts him. He just needs to get him off if it isnt working for him, you can always tell with giggsy withing about 10 mins what kind of game he's going to have.

Giggs off the bench against Real Madrid at Old Trafford to play his 1000th career game. Perfect.

I agree Harry and I am sure Fergie does too, this is a case of "lads if you play well enough at the weekend you could force your way into the team against Real Madrid", a motivational ploy to hopefully stave off complacency :)

Bench; yes. Start; no. Just my opinion. Love him to bits, obviously, but he's not a starter these days.
