Xavi: Returned to training after recovering from a thigh injury

Xavi picked up a thigh problem in the Copa del Rey defeat to Real Madrid and he missed last weekend's Primera Liga defeat by Jose Mourinho's side.

It was feared Xavi could miss next week's UEFA Champions League second leg encounter with AC Milan, but the Spain international has made a quicker than expected return to fitness.

Barcelona assistant coach Jordi Roura, who is currently standing in for the ill Tito Vilanova, admits they will decide on Saturday if Xavi will be included in the squad for the weekend game with Deportivo La Coruna.

"He completed a full session with his team-mates," said Roura.

"We'll see tomorrow after training how he feels and whether we include him in the list.

"We will then see how things develop over the next few days to see whether he can play against Milan."
