Keiran Trippier: Hoping for ban to be overturned

The Clarets defender was dismissed after only 15 minutes of the Addicks clash after being adjudged to have blocked Chris Solly's goalbound effort with his hand.

Turf Moor boss Sean Dyche believes the offence was not deliberate and is hoping the decision will be overturned.

He said in a statement released by the Championship club: "We have had a look at the situation and at the video and my opinion has not changed from that straight after the game, that it was ball to hand and not hand to ball."
