Martin Taylor: Has confidence in his ability

The 33-year-old, who signed from Watford in August, is likely to partner Anthony Gardner at the heart of the Owls defence as Miguel Llera is suspended following his fifth booking of the season.

And despite admitting it's not been the start to his Wednesday career that he envisaged, Taylor has not lost confidence.

"Since I've come here, things haven't worked out as I had hoped," he said.

"You want to show the fans and the squad what you can do. I have enough confidence in my ability to know that I can do a good job if called upon again.

"You never intend to make mistakes and I don't think I've been through another stage in my career where I've made so many."
