The Saint-Etienne winger is a popular figure at Elland Road having scored 18 goals for the club in the 2010-11 season before leaving for Ligue 1.

Leeds boss Neil Warnock is thought to be keen on Gradel and the player himself admits he does expect to return to England at some point.

"I have a contract here until June 2015, I have settled well here and I'm enjoying my football," Gradel told Sky Sports.

"But I am a lover of English football and its atmosphere. I am 25-years-old and I know my love affair with English football is not finished yet so you never know.

"At the moment, my French club is doing well so I am happy here but things happen quickly in football."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!
