Jeremy Helan: Could return to Hillsborough for a second loan spell

Manchester City midfielder Helan, 20, made nine appearances for the Owls during a recent stint with the club before returning to his parent club after last weekend's goalless draw with Wolves.

Jones visited Helan at City's training headquarters this week, but may face a fight for the Frenchman as several other clubs are keen to take him on loan.

Stoke striker Mamady Sidibe also returned to his parent club after the Wolves game, but will not be making a quick return to Hillsborough due to family reasons.

Sidibe, 33, who made 10 appearances for the Owls after arriving at the end of November, is reluctant to travel as he needs to be close to his pregnant wife.

Meanwhile, Jones is confident over a deal with an unnamed Spanish club that could see the departure of another forward, Rodri.

The 22-year-old, currently sidelined through illness, arrived on a season-long loan from Barcelona B in August, but has failed to settle in England and is keen to return home.
