Scott Dann: Keen to build on last weekend's win

Dann believes performances have improved during their last two outings and says that has to continue when Sean O'Driscoll's side visit Ewood Park.

Despite being 10 points adrift of the play-off places, the former Birmingham man believes they can still make a late charge up the table.

"Obviously we are disappointed where we are in the league but I think with the new manager coming in it has given us a little bit of a boost," he told the club's official website.

"Against Charlton we never showed what we were capable of and we didn't really play very well but we put that right against Brighton albeit we were a bit unlucky near the end.

"I think against Derby we showed what we are capable of and we need to keep that up and start picking up more points.

"I think we are still 10 points off but you never know in this league, that is what we'll be aiming for from now until the end of the season. In the next couple of games we've got to be picking up maximum points and we'll be doing our upmost to do that."
