Ian Holloway: Pleased with transfer work

After agreeing a big money deal with Manchester United for winger Wilfried Zaha - who will remain with the club until the end of the season, the club were able to bring in some extra bodies.

Holloway pounced on Deadline Day for two of his former Blackpool charges in the shape of Stephen Dobbie and Kevin Phillips.

"Selling Wilfried Zaha to Manchester United last week has enabled me to do some wheeling and dealing of my own in the transfer market this week," Holloway said in the Sunday Mirror.

"I'm delighted that I have landed two players for Crystal Palace who I have worked with before.

"Stephen Dobbie and Kevin Phillips are two players who will boost our goals tally over the coming months as we get to the business end of the season."
