Darren Ferguson: Hopeful of getting Pritchard back after his injury

Darren Ferguson: Hopeful of getting Pritchard back after his injury

Pritchard is back at parent club Tottenham receiving treatment after damaging ankle ligaments during Posh's 2-1 home victory over Leicester last weekend.

It was only the 20-year-old winger's second appearance since joining the npower Championship club on January 31 on a deal until the end of the season.

He is expected to be out for six weeks but Ferguson has his fingers crossed that he will resume his loan.

"There's a possibility of getting him back," Ferguson said. "Tottenham are going to give him an injection that will hopefully speed up the recovery.

"It would be good to get him back, he's come on in both games and done quite well."
