The reverse fixture in the npower Championship in October was mired in controversy as a Leeds fan attacked Chris Kirkland on the pitch and Jones was subjected to chants from the away end, which resulted in the Owls boss branding the visiting supporters "vile animals".

Jones is keen not to stoke up the atmosphere ahead of the lunchtime kick-off, however, and is only interested in the football.

He said: "We are just going there trying to get the points. It's done and dusted. We have got to do a job and win a football match.

"What happened was dealt with at the time and if people want to continue that then that's up to them.

"It won't affect anything in how they train and play. Them having a go at me won't get them any more points."
