Flitcroft has added Dale Jennings, from Bayern Munich, former Sheffield Wednesday striker Chris O'Grady and goalkeeper Christian Dibble, from Bury, to his squad this summer and is keen to further strengthen after the Tykes avoided relegation on the final day of last season.

"I'm in constant contact with Ben (Mansford, chief executive) and we've had some great conversations about recruitment," Flitcroft told the club's official website.

"After training at night time, we're working until about 11 o'clock at night over the recruitment side of the game.

"We're trying to invite players out Thursday and Friday and we're taking a look at a player out here."
