Bolton boss Dougie Freedman has dismissed rumours linking striker Craig Davies with a move back to Wolves.

The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a return to Molineux where he spent 27 games in 2006/07 but Freedman says there has been no approach and he wants the Wales international to stay.

"It could've been some 12-year-old Wolves fan tweeting and it's got into the papers," the Wanderers boss told BBC Radio Manchester.

"Nobody has contacted me from Wolves. I want Craig to stay here - I've just bought him, so he's got a very good chance of playing."

Davies joined Bolton from Barnsley in January and went on to score four goals in 18 appearances.
