The England Under-21 international made his debut at right-back for the Rams during their 1-1 draw against Birmingham City at Pride Park, having joined on loan last week.

The versatile 20-year-old, who is expected to stay at Derby until at least January, has already impressed County boss Steve McClaren.

But Wisdom does not expect to be given an easy ride during his time at the East Midlands club.

"Working under (Liverpool boss) Brendan Rodgers has been a great thrill for me. He handed me my debut and I'm very grateful for that," Wisdom told Sky Sports.

"But also coming here and working with Steve McClaren - he's a great manager also.

"Coming down and thinking because I played for Liverpool that it's going to be a walk in the park, it's not the case at all and the manager is first to remind me of that.

"(It's important) just keep working hard in training every day. Brendan Rodgers told me the same thing, to come here and work my socks off."

put Ince in my fantasy football team, so it's no surprise at all really. I do that to players. Also responsible for De Jong and Upson being injured. Think I'll transfer in Di Maria just to ruin United....
