The 19-year-old midfielder is spending the next two weeks with Rangers, with a view to a possible switch to Loftus Road.

Alderson will link-up initially with the club's Under-21 squad, which already includes Canadians Dylan Carreiro and Michael Petrasso.

"It was just a good fit for me to come here and train for a couple weeks," Alderson told Vancouver's website.

"Knowing a few guys makes it really easy for me."
