Onyewu has spent the past couple of months in the Championship with Queens Park Rangers after moving to Loftus Road on a short-term deal in October.

However, the centre-half failed to make a first-team appearance with QPR and was released by the promotion contenders earlier this week.

The 31-year-old has quickly found a new club, though, after agreeing to join a resurgent Wednesday side for the rest of the campaign.

Onyewu has previously had spells at the likes of AC Milan, Newcastle United and Sporting Lisbon, and will add size and experience to caretaker manager Stuart Gray's squad.

enteke is an absolute steal for £32.5m, he would get into any team in the world (except Barcelona) at the moment. I've seen many very good strikers in my 30+ years as a Villa fan. This guy is the best without question.
