The 23-year-old central defender is out-of-contract with his current club ADO Den Haag in the summer.

Because he is within the final six-months of his current deal, he is free to discuss terms with foreign clubs before the summer.

Sky Sports understands that a number Championship and SPL clubs are showing a strong interest in Beugelsdijk.

However, Blackpool are currently heading the chase for the player, who attended their 3-1 defeat to Derby County on Tuesday at Bloomfield Road.

Beugelsdijk spoke with Blackpool officials before watching their game from the stands, and then heading back to Holland.
