The Spaniard, who replaced Tony Mowbray at the helm in November last year, will send his side into Sky Bet Championship battle for the last time this campaign at Yeovil on Saturday.

Asked if he would then have a break, Karanka told the club's official website: "Yes, I will have one - Sunday.

"But yes, I will have a holiday sometime. I need to be with my family, I have been five months on my own.

"Of course I will be working every day, but I need a holiday, I need to be with my family.

"I need to be back in Spain and I will go there soon, and when I'm there, I will enjoy the Champions League final - I have no doubt Real Madrid will win!"

h Daniel. I could spend hours on this subject putting the world to rights. You can even take a step back and ask why football fans (and society in general) have this need to know that something will happen before it actually does. There are times this important, when it comes to things like war, food production and natural disasters. A man you've never met changing his job? Not so much.
