The Danish club have confirmed they have agreed a fee for Vetokele, who has scored 19 goals in 54 matches.

The 22-year-old will now travel to south London to undergo a medical and tie up personal terms.

Vetokele told FC Copenhagen's website: "I've always wanted to try playing in England and I believe I have good opportunities to play and continue my development in Charlton.

"Therefore, this is a good opportunity for me, even though it is not an easy decision."
