The Addicks follow that with a home date with Middlesbrough a week later, before another away game, this time at Barnsley.

Local rivals Millwall visit the Valley in late September.

The Christmas period sees two home games, with Brighton the visitors on Boxing day followed by Sheffield Wednesday three days later, while 2014 starts with a trip to Ipswich Town on New Year's Day.

Charlton's season concludes as it began with a trip to the seaside, when they face Blackpool away on 3 May.
