The French striker, who has scored three goals this season, missed Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield with an ankle injury.

"He should be okay," said Powell.

"It would have been a risk to play him on Tuesday, because of the knock he took on Saturday at Watford.

"I hope his powers of recovery are very good because he will be a big plus for us if he's fit.

"It's a local derby and a lot happens in games like that.

"We have got to be ready for playing against a side that are three miles down the road. There's a lot of local pride at stake and all the players will have to be recovered and ready to really put in a big effort against them on Saturday."
