On-loan Hull City winger Stewart crashed in a stunning volley for his second goal in Addicks colours but it could not prevent the hosts going down 4-2 to Leeds United.

"I've got to mention Cameron, because he had a couple of crosses where he over-hit them," said Powell.

"But he showed the attitude and the courage to take on such a difficult chance and that's our goal of the season so far - it's just a shame it didn't lead to a victory for us."
