Stoke City v Manchester City
Tony Pulis' claim this week that "injuries have held him back a bit" regarding Michael Owen is one of the great understatements of the last 100 years. It reminded me of when Judy Garland dead-panned "Toto, I've got a feeling we are not in Kansas anymore" in The Wizard of Oz.

Let's have it right. Lil Mickey's output in terms of achievements at work over the past three years is comparable to that irascible doley Andy Capp. However he scored his 150th Premier League goal last week and is in contention to start against the league champions. The great ones always have one last performance in them (think Ali in Zaire, Nicklaus at the 1986 Masters, Higgins at the Irish Masters, on crutches, in 1989). And if Owen starts, 7/2 about him scoring in the game looks plenty acceptable.
Betting: Owen to score anytime at 7/2 (bet365)

Bolton v Everton
If the Trotters (5/1 for the win) beat the Toffees here it wouldn't be a Ronnie Radford-esque FA Cup giant-killing but it would make headlines and you cannot 100% rule it out as Everton are blowing hot and cold at the minute. I much prefer steaming into 'Both Teams to Score' however at a shade under evens as I feel this game will be more open than many are predicting.
Betting: BTTS at 10/11 (Hills)

Arsenal v Brighton
Arsene Wenger must surely want to win the FA Cup this year and then ram the famous old trophy right up the bums of the critics who continue to point out that Arsenal are a team in decline who have not won anything since 2005. They should be at full strength and warmed up for this one nicely by sticking five past West Ham in the week. Looking at it, I can't see anything else but the Gunners securing a serene passage to round five.
Betting: Arsenal (-1) to beat Brighton at 15/8 (Ladbrokes)

Huddersfield v Leicester City
If the Foxes travel with the big guns, which is likely, I make them the best odds-on shots in sport this weekend. They are a side full of goals who are playing against a side who have just given their manager the boot and who haven't won in the Championship since November 10. Add to this that fact that Leicester beat the Terriers 6-1 just over three weeks ago, and you will concur that current 4/5 quotes really are pretty silly.
Betting: Leicester City to beat Huddersfield at 4/5 (Betfred)

Manchester United v Fulham
The Red Devils will almost certainly ring the changes here and while all eyes will be on RVP and Wazza, I have a hunch that a former Old Trafford favourite might grab himself a few headlines. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you, Dimitar Berbatov. The hairline might be receding at an alarming rate but the talent remains and I wouldn't put it past Berba to rifle one into the old onion bag and then flamboyantly eyeball Fergie while re-adjusting his collar.
Betting: Berbatov to score anytime at 4/1 (Coral/Hills)

Brentford v Chelsea
Brentford beware. The ballboy bashers are in town. I can't believe the furore surrounding Eden Hazard's red card almost as much as I cannot believe that a 17-year-old was spending his time retrieving balls in a tracksuit last Wednesday. When I was 17 I would happily sling my balls in the direction of any half-game female, but you just wouldn't catch me loitering around the side of a football pitch at that age. Cameron's Britain kids, Cameron's Britain.
Betting: Lampard to score anytime at 13/8 (Betfred)

Leeds v Tottenham
Leeds have been rocked to their very foundations this week after revelations that Luciano Beccio has handed in a transfer request. How very dare he. I mean what's not to like about Leeds? Apart from the fact it's freezing, the people don't like to smile a lot, crime is through the roof and it's the place that spawned Chris Moyles. For this little lot, and the fact I once had my nose broken in The Skyrack for merely pointing out that "rugby is sh*t", I hope Spurs ride roughshod over the Whites this weekend.
Betting: HT Draw/FT Tottenham at 7/2 (Sky Bet)

Oldham v Liverpool
I remember Oldham's FA Cup exploits of yesteryear and their thrilling 3-3 semi-final with Manchester United at Maine Road remains particularly vivid, if only because of Ian Marshall's magnificent permed-mullet (hands down the best football haircut of the 1980s). This Latics side are 13/1 to partake in a bit of gianticide this weekend but I like Liverpool to get the job done here without much fuss.
Betting: Liverpool to beat Oldham 3-0 at 15/2 (Bet Victor)
