Fulham v Stoke City
The Premier League returns this weekend after a brief break to accommodate the FA Cup, and could the main heads at Sky have picked a more seductive fixture than this one to screen live on the goggle box? In a word, absolutely. I can't even pretend to feign interest here, even for the purposes of this column, and truth be known may still be in the scratcher at 12:45pm on Saturday if my Friday night out goes to plan. So the advice is to swerve this altogether and have a slice of the 16/1 available about David Price bombing out Tony 'The Tiger' Thompson inside a minute in Saturday night's big fight from Liverpool.
Betting: Price to win in 60 seconds at 16/1 (Ladbrokes)

Arsenal v Aston Villa
Bad auld week if you are an Arsenal fan. FA Cup dreams shattered by those giants of the English game, Blackburn. Manager has a full press conference breakdown following that before European dreams are all but shattered by ze Germans on Tuesday night. Can they get back on track here? It's possible but I'd rather play pool in a packed pub in just my skimps against Willie Thorne than back the Gunners at 4/11 here.
Betting: Arsenal and Aston Villa to draw 1-1 at 13/1 (Bet Victor)

Norwich v Everton
The Toffees did me for over £300 last week with their inability to keep Oldham at arm's length so forgive me for not waxing lyrical about them here. I do fancy them to get a win though against a side who have not won in the league since December 15, and feel any odds-against quotes about the away win should be snapped up.
Betting: Everton to beat Norwich at 23/20 (Bet Victor)

QPR v Manchester United
Had to laugh at the old man last week. "What price are Manchester United for the title son?" he asked me conspiratorially. "They look certainties." When I explained that the Red Devils were now no bigger than 1/25 he took a large gulp from his brew and described the bookies as "robbing bastards". I think he was secretly hoping for some 3/1 action. This is a man still dining out on the story that he napped the 1986 Grand National winner in West Tip. I digress. It's top v bottom here and Fergie's mob are chalked up as rather prohibitive 4/7 shots. They are 57 points clear at the top of the league (actually 12) so why do I have a hunch that they may draw a blank at Loftus Road? QPR are cast adrift but have kept a fair few clean sheets in 2013 and the bet I am moving slowly towards here is that at least one of these sides fails to get amongst the goals.
Betting: Both teams to score - No at 11/10 (Coral)

Reading v Wigan
I watched an interview with Brian McDermott in the week and it got me thinking about sexy bald men. Moreover just who is the sexiest, follically-challenged male on the planet? Bruce Willis? Jason Statham? Co Stompe? I'm really not sure, but I'd be interested to hear your opinions. Huge game at the bottom here and one I can see Reading winning. Wigan are poor travellers and 16/1 about a home win makes plenty of appeal.
Betting: Reading to win 2-0 at 16/1 (Bet Victor)

West Brom v Sunderland
The Baggies are the proverbial bag of Revels right now. No win in eight matches then they go to Anfield and stun Liverpool 2-0. Sunderland sit in mid-table obscurity and literally anything could happen here. Including an absolute snoozer of a 0-0.
Betting: No Goalscorer at 14/1 (Blue Sq)

Manchester City v Chelsea
Has Bobby Mancini been at the tins? He claimed last week that "I think the championship is not finished." This despite the fact his side trail United by 12 points with just 12 games to go. Sh*t, if he really fancies his side to retain their crown I'm sure my old man would give him evens if he asked him nicely. Let us have it right here. There will be no last day drama. Martin Tyler will not be jizzing his kecks and screaming long and loud into the sunny May afternoon. The race has been run. In fact I wouldn't rule Chelsea out of pipping them for second and I reckon 100/30 about a Chelsea win here looks a real spot of value.
Betting: Chelsea to beat Manchester City at 100/30 (Stan James)

Newcastle United v Southampton
'Le Toon' stormed into the last 16 of the Europa League on Thursday night after a brave win in Ukraine courtesy of Shola Ameobi's solitary goal. They are odds-against for the win on Tyneside against a Saints side who are level on points with them in the table. The loser of this looks set for an end-of-season dog fight at the bottom and for this reason I reckon it could be tight. Low goals looks the percentage call but I might just have a few quid on Ameobi bagging for his second match on the trot this weekend.
Betting: Ameobi to score anytime at 2/1 (Stan James)

Degsy Bilton

Lets see if Rednapps qpr try as hard against United as they did against the champions. Hmmm...

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
