Backing Suarez And Liverpool At 4/1

He's going through a bit of a dry spell by his standards but Degsy is backing him to score and Liverpool to win in a nice 4/1 double. Oh and he thinks City will dick Chelsea...

Backing Newcastle At 14s, You T*ts...

Degsy got a whole load of stick last week for backing Sunderland to win at Man United so he's happy to put his head up again and back Newcastle at Liverpool...

Sunderland v Southampton
The Saints are unbeaten in seven and look to be hitting top gear again while, with a League Cup final already in the bag and a relegation dogfight to contend with, we just don't know how Sunderland will line up. Southampton have had some real success on their travels of late and I reckon 13/10 quotes are plenty acceptable under the circumstances.
Betting: Southampton to beat Sunderland at 13/10 (Betfred/Coral/Ladbrokes)

Cardiff v Wigan
Cardiff are another side whose priorities lie elsewhere and I'm not convinced they can get over the line here if they shuffle their pack. The unlikely FA Cup holders can take this to a replay. A replay that in reality neither side really want.
Betting: Draw at 12/5 (Ladbrokes)

Sheffield Wednesday v Charlton
The Owls seemed to be getting their sh*t together in recent weeks but were abysmal in losing to Wigan last time out and only a complete trumpet would be steaming in at evens. I reckon there will be onion bag action though (winks).
Betting: Both teams to score at evens (Coral)

Man City v Chelsea
Here's a stat. Chelsea's only ever FA Cup win against Man City? Way back in 1915. No iPads then me laddo. Back then it was all about World Wars and influenza. Jose Mourinho conjured up a tactical masterclass at the Etihad the other week and you can get 12/5 about them winning again. However I reckon Manuel Pellegrini will be privately seething about all that "little horse that needs milk" craic and will send his men out to tear Chelsea a new one here.
Betting: Manchester City to win 3-0 at 22/1 (Bet Victor)

Everton v Swansea
I will inevitably get grief for this on the comments page (there is many a night I've literally cried myself to sleep over some of your withering observations) but I'm still not convinced by Everton without yer man Romelu Lukaku in the side. Swansea have won three of their last four and have key personnel back. Bottom line - I'm nibbling them at better than 5/1.
Betting: Swansea to win at 11/2 (Stan James)

Sheffield United v Nott'm Forest
Forest are on a mighty impressive unbeaten run (though their inability to beat Blackpool last week made me angrily streak my pants with sh*t). Nigel Clough, who like his dad doesn't have a great FA Cup record, is on record saying safety is the Blades' main priority so I'm all over current 13/10 quotes about a Forest victory (they are odds-on pokes to get the job done on my tissue).
Betting: Nott'm Forest to win at 13/10 (Ladbrokes/Sky Bet)

Arsenal v Liverpool
The Reds dicked the Gunners 5-1 just last Saturday and followed that up with a win away to Fulham in the week. Arsenal were p*ss poor at Anfield and looked a tired, jaded outfit in their 0-0 draw with ManYoo on Wednesday. They also have a Champions League assignment with Bayern Munich round the corner and, given Liverpool have no European distractions, you can be confident they'll be at full strength and going for this again. Luis Suarez has failed to score in his last three but El Pistolero is the man to keep onside here and this is just his kind of stage.
Betting: Suarez to score and Liverpool to win double at 4/1 (Betfred)

lassic management. Build them up and then knock them back. Raise expectations and then dampen them. Create a dynamic where by you demand the most from your team, but where the team are given room to manoeuvre unexpected or unwanted results. Classy work by Van Gaal, he really reminds me a lot of me. A smart cookie, make no doubt.

e will be the England left back for ten years or more, and then you will have to thank MUFC for that. *smiles*

urely because of that little diva moment he had last night, I don't want him coming to my club. DESTROYED ? Grow up and give something back to the club that helped put you up there on the world stage.
