Burnley v Manchester United
Rumours abound that ManYoo are set for a massive clear out in the next few days. LVG was quoted in the press recently as saying he doesn't even care where Danny Welbeck ends up playing, as long as it is not at a top four side. So that's him staying at Old Trafford then. Seriously though what a sh*tty start eh? One point from two league games and a Capital One Cup spanking at the hands of those giants of the European game, the MK Dons. Can we really steam into them at around the 8/13 mark after such an inauspicious start? Can we f*ck.
Betting: Danny Ings to score anytime at 14/5 (Ladbrokes)

Manchester City v Stoke City
The champions have made a decent start to their title defence and I expect their superior ring craft to prove far too hot for Stoke's crude, uncouth lunges here. Citeh by KO.
Betting: Manchester City (-2) to beat Stoke at 6/4 (Bet Victor)

Newcastle United v Crystal Palace
I may have lost money on the 'Next Crystal Palace manager' betting market but the one good thing about his appointment is the fact Neil Warnock will no longer be appearing on Talksport with Alan Brazil. Did you listen to some of their 'bants' over the summer? As a radio pundit Warnock truly is the pits of the earth. Surely Neil will play Dwight Gayle on Tyneside? Gayle has scored 56 goals in 94 league appearances to date so quotes of bigger than 3/1 about him scoring against the Mags surely have to be snaffled up.
Betting: Gayle to score anytime at 15/4 (bet365)

QPR v Sunderland
Big game this between two sides who will class survival as an achievement this term. QPR are currently bottom of the pile and Harry Redders - he of perennial hangdog expression - knows it is time to step up. Sunderland will be no pushovers though and can secure another valuable away point in White City.
Betting: QPR and Sunderland to daw 1-1 at 6/1 (Bet Victor)

Swansea v West Brom
The Baggies are unbeaten (two draws) but have flattered to deceive somewhat thus far while Swansea have a 100% record. I fancy them to build on that one here and with the attacking options at their disposal they can make short work of West Brom in South Wales.
Betting: Swansea to be leading after 15 minutes at 4/1 (Ladbrokes)

West Ham v Southampton
I don't envisage a classic at Upton Park and there may be a few challenges flying about early on of the 'pwoppa nawwty' (as in Danny Dyer 'this finger stinks of me arris, it's pwoppa nawwty') variety. Victor Wanyama is not a player to shirk a such a challenge in the centre of the park and so there may be mileage in backing him to be the first player to see yellow on the day.
Betting: Wanyama first player to be booked at 10/1 (Bet Victor)

Everton v Chelsea
The Toffees were impressive in spells against Arsenal last weekend but I sense a frailty at the back this term that wasn't so obvious last season. Ergo I make Chelsea the 'Bilton Weekend Banker'. Beg, steal, borrow or cadge but get on Chelsea here, who are primed to do a job on Merseyside.
Betting: Chelsea to win at 6/5 (bet365)

Aston Villa v Hull City
Villa have made a solid start right enough but I couldn't believe my peepers when I saw that Hull are being chalked up at 11/4 here. The Tigers have taken four points from two games themselves and for me are a better side than Villa, who lack a serious goal threat at present. In other news my sister had just received her A level results - A, C, D, C - and is off to university. Turns out she's on the Highway to Hull...
Betting: Hull City to beat Aston Villa at 11/4 (Bet Victor)

Tottenham v Liverpool
This is a biggie down in North London and Liverpool could do with a result after their recent shellacking against Man City. The jury is definitely still out on the Anfield mob after a pretty uninspiring start to the season and as predicted they don't look the same side without thug/talisman (delete as applicable) Luis Suarez. In sharp contrast Spurs are flying. Top of the league and playing with a real energy I fancy them to gain revenge for their two maulings against the Reds from last season.
Betting: HT-FT Draw - Tottenham at 11/2 (Hills)

Leicester City v Arsenal
The Foxes have endured a tough old start to life back in the top flight but there are signs they might be able to hold their own. They were far from disgraced against Chelsea last time out and will given Arsenal a run for their money here too but in Aaron Ramsey the Gunners have a midfielder operating at the very peak of his powers.
Betting: Ramsey to score first at 7/1 (Hills)

Degsy Bilton

(Pool Vs Spurs punt) So a revenge for getting thrashed/mauled is to say 'you can have only one of the three candy cones that I have.. oh.. and don't look back sweetie' ??
