The title and relegation battles may be settled, but it is all still to play for in the fight to secure a top-four finish. Arsenal are favourites to record a victory at Newcastle which will see them secure Champions League football next season, while Tottenham are odds-on to keep up the pressure by beating Sunderland.

Jack Wilshere believes Arsenal need only look back at Chelsea's Champions League triumph last year as they prepare to meet Bayern Munich.
m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!
hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.

I hope arsenal lose.I really do.More out of pity then anything. It will hopefully revive the club into a fighting force and sober up any thoughts of themselves as a "competing club".No one is asking arsenal to win the PL but being in the top four in england and not competing for domestic cups is such poor form. Then masking it with the 4th place is the most important shtick is such an abuse of club-fan relationship.I've seen how much tickets cost.I've seen the underperforming teams of the last 3 to 4 years. Most of all I have seen a manager who cannot or won't accept defeat and go back to the drawing board. The cheek of vermalen to ask for the support of fans.Earn it.Along with this suggestion of reinventing they should get rid of their attire designer more specifically those jackets.

You need our belief? You need our support? Well guess what TV - you used to have it unconditionally but lately, you guys have all been so utterly abysmal, that you have to earn that belief back. I used to follow Arsenal in the 80s when we were crap. I didnt shout any louder when we were amazing, cos i already shouted at the top of my lungs when we were useless - but when we were useless and passionate, the fans were passionate too. I would sing 'by far the greatest team' etc, even if Perry Groves or Ian Selley made it obvious we were nowhere near. But at some point in the last few seasons, we started paying average players too much money and an endemic lethargy entered out playing stayle, epitomised by Diaby and Denilson. And now, we can't just be asked to fake it, just cos a big game is coming up - i was cheering my heart out against Blackburn, and you stuffed that up. Why should i shout myself hoarse again, when you guys show no effin passion against Bradford, Blackburn or in the first half against West Ham or Newcastle? club Captain - my a-hole............ you should be begging for our support, not demanding it.

@ HarryBoulton. Arsenal do have quality players. But I can't really remember a game this season where they really stepped up. You can't count the games against West Ham, Newcastle and Reading because, with all due respect they weren't massive games. I'm talking about the games against big teams. Sadly, we never showed up in those games. It's a terrible pundit cliche, but you want your big players to make an impact in the big games. Can't remember when we did that last? Bayern do have class throughout, are pretty much all world class and are very efficient. I think Arsenal have the smaller team mentality and I don't see them winning this game, nevermind progressing. If, and it's a big if, they could put in a performance similar to the Milan return lag last year where we played with freedom because we were pretty much out anyway, then we could have a chance. Maybe if Wenger told them all before the game that we are 3-0 down, we might see a response. I have hope, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's like the CL semi against Utd a few years back when were 2 down inside 15 and effectively game over.

@bigm Funny as when i went to Anfield to watch us beat you 2 - 0 your lot were very quiet. Been 3 times hey? Is that 3 more times than you have been to anfield? If its success you wanted you should have changed your support to Utd or City not from Arsenal to Liverpool. On the Bayern game I just hope we are still in it for the return leg. I really do rate Bayern i actually think they will win it this year!

Aside from asking what the hell you make of Liverpool then bigm, I'll ask (in hope more than expectation) if you can point out the hypocrisy in the following sentence, "Defensively atrocious, lack of passion, no effort and fans constantly rubbishing players."
