The 19-year-old spoke about his situation at Chelsea in a press conference and admitted he is not looking to the future just yet after joining Inter on a season-long loan.
He said: "Inter and Chelsea are two totally different clubs.
"Inter have more history than Chelsea from my point of view but to me it's time to train in the best way possible, play as much as possible and then we'll see for my future at the end of the season."
Wallace impressed in the pre-season games he featured in for Jose Mourinho's side but has been allowed to move to Inter to play football on a regular basis and has his sights set on the Serie A title.
"I spoke with Mourinho only once at the beginning of the season," he added.
"I hope we'll have a great season, maybe even win Serie A.
"I came to do my best and work. My strong point is attacking, but I need to improve in the defensive phase. We are working hard on this and I'm convinced I can do well."
