Fabian Delph's brilliant 82nd minute goal earned Villa a surprise 1-0 home success to leave Premier League leaders Chelsea six points clear of Manchester City, who have three games in hand.

Chelsea saw Willian sent off, perhaps a little harshly, on 68 minutes for a second yellow card before Ramires was dismissed in stoppage-time following a shocking challenge on Karim El Ahmadi.

Mourinho was also then sent to the stands by referee Foy and the Chelsea manager did not want to risk a disrepute charge after the game.

"It was a good, solid performance against a good team," Mourinho told Sky Sports. " Defensively, we were really strong and we had no problems coping with the danger that Aston Villa has.

"After that, I prefer not to comment because I don't want to bring the game into disrepute and I don't want to be accused.

"I prefer to do what we have to do in football. In football, we have just to let it go and not to comment because if you comment, you are in trouble, and I don't want to be.

"I prefer not to comment because if you want to speak about big decisions, you don't just speak about the red cards.

"If I speak I'm in big trouble, and I don't want to be in big trouble, and if I speak I'm accused of bringing the game into disrepute.

"The referees do what they do, they do and they go home, they do and they don't go to the press, they refuse even to exchange a couple of words when one person, like me who has been in football for so long, asks politely, 'Can you speak with me for five seconds?' and it's 'No, I don't speak with you for five seconds'.

"I have to keep with my position because compared to the referee my position in the game is nothing, and I have to go home and close my mouth."

When asked about speaking to Foy in the tunnel after the game, Mourinho said: "I asked, 'Can you give me just five seconds Mr Foy?', but it's no. That's fine, I have to accept it."

Regarding his own dismissal, Mourinho said: "I asked five seconds, just to make one simple question and I had no chance because I was sent to the stands.

"I tried to ask one question to Mr Foy, one question to Mr Moss, and my question was just one. Is it possible that (Gabby) Agbonlahor can leave the bench, goes and grabs my player from behind and from his neck, is it possible no yellow card, no red card, nothing?

"I didn't have the chance to ask the question and I was sent to the stands."

Asked if he expected to face Football Association action over the incident he said: "Me? Me or the ref? No, I don't expect (to be charged) because I did nothing."

robably the first list I've come across in a long time where I agree with a large majority of what was written. Can't agree with everything though, Zaba has had an awful season by his standards, I'd put Monreal (a player who I've never rated) up there, gotta give credit where it's due, he's really stepped up his game.
