Reported Manchester United and Chelsea target Fredy Guarin has signed a contract extension with Inter Milan, the Serie A club have announced.

The Colombia international, who had been linked with several Premier League sides including Jose Mourinhio's Chelsea and David Moyes' United, is now tied to the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2017.

The 27-year-old midfielder has scored 14 goals in 82 appearances for Inter since joining them from Porto in January 2012.

Guarin, who at Porto won three Portuguese Liga titles and the 2011 Europa League, has also played for St Etienne and Boca Juniors in his career and represented his country in almost 50 matches.
