The Blues travel to Liverpool on Sunday knowing a win will put them to within two points of the Premier League leaders and firmly back in the title race.

And the Brazilian pair are refusing to look beyond this weekend to the second leg of their European clash next Wednesday, with the winners going on to face either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the final on 24th May.

"We can't even think much about the result in Madrid, although it wasn't bad," Ramires told Brazilian newspaper Lancenet.

"We have to focus on the Premier League.

"The fight for the title is hard but if we beat Liverpool, we can win the league.

"We are focused on both fronts.

"Our thought is that any team would like to be in our place, fighting for a place in the Champions League final and fighting for the national title.

"It's been such decisive days that we can't even think about the Brazilian national team call-ups.

"This shows how much we are focused."

Willian echoed his team-mate's sentiments, claiming that a call-up for the World Cup is in the back of his mind.

"We have many important games ahead, we have to go step by step," said Willian.

"A win against Liverpool will show our strength as it would be in an away game against a team that have a fantastic attack, and we will be missing players.

"Then we can focus on the second (leg) against Atletico and on the Brazilian national team call-ups.

"We have to prioritise each at a time."
