The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the Football League, having cemented his place in Karl Robinson's side during the last 18 months

Alli burst onto the scene during the 2012/13 campaign before establishing himself in League One this season as he made 37 first-team appearances.

His manager, Robinson, rates him as the best youngster he has ever worked with and he has been reported to have attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal in the past.

The England Under-18 international operates as a central midfielder and his style of play has been likened to that of a young Steven Gerrard.
