British Superbikes is one of the country's most popular and exciting motor sports, with top-class riders reaching speeds of around 200mph on the country's best known race tracks. Much of the appeal of Superbikes is the bikes themselves, which are factory-backed versions of ordinary road bikes, enabling fans to really appreciate the skills of riders and technologies alike.

Riders are competing in 12 hotly contested races around the country this year. Spectators at Knockhill can expect a full day's racing action, and the two Superbikes events will form the highlights of the day.
