Example has embraced his rock self for this album and drawn inspiration from his music idols including adolescent heroes Blur. True to form he took a step further and after meeting Graham Coxon backstage at a War Child gig the two built a relationship and his distinctive guitar playing can now be heard on four tracks on 'The Evolution of Man', Example said 'I went to his house and played him the album. On some songs he just picked up his guitar and started freestyling. It was amazing."
The end of this summer saw Example play the main stage at V Festival next to Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and The Stone Roses to rave reviews awarding him the label of 'the toast of Britpop royalty' by the NME. As well as securing his roots on home ground the Example Live experience is making major waves worldwide and alongside his US shows he has upcoming appearances at Stereosonic in Brisbane and a huge tour of Asia to come. In February he will once again be tearing up arenas around the UK with his next headline tour.
