Ian Holloway: Wants to add 'one or two'

Palace missed the chance to go back to the top of the Championship after throwing away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Birmingham on Saturday.

But they remain a point clear in second having lost just once in the nine games since Holloway took over.

Holloway has been hugely impressed with the squad he inherited from Dougie Freedman, but wants to bring in a couple of new faces when the transfer window reopens to ensure Palace last the pace in the promotion race.

"I'm delighted this group looks as good as they are," he said.

"I can't wait for January to try to help them by adding one or two players to make us even more threatening. I have been compiling my shopping list."
