Back-to-back wins have seen Palace catapulted up to 14th, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
And after scoring only six goals on the road prior to their clash at the Cardiff City Stadium, Pulis was full of praise for side.
"It was a good performance," Pulis told Sky Sports.
"We knew Cardiff would be strong and get lots of balls in the air, but our two centre-halves and two central midfielders were outstanding and we fancied ourselves on the break.
"We played really well against Chelsea last Saturday and we didn't want to come here after the Lord Mayor's Show."
However Pulis, who has never been relegated in his managerial career, warned his players against complacency, insisting their work is not done.
"It is very rewarding for everyone concerned," Pulis added.
"That said, we still have six games to go and we are not safe.
"The game against Aston Villa on Saturday is massive."
