Jake Buxton: Closing in on return from injury

Buxton suffered medial ligament damage during the Championship victory over Leeds at Pride Park on December 8.

Ahead of his side's home FA Cup third-round tie against League One leaders Tranmere on Saturday, Rams boss Nigel Clough told the media: "Jake is coming on and there has been a marked improvement.

"We still think he is two or three weeks away. We are hoping to have him back in February."
