Brayford played for just over an hour as the Rams' development squad drew 0-0 with Coventry at the Ricoh Arena on Monday afternoon.

Although predominantly a right-back, the 25-year-old lined up alongside Michael Jacobs in midfield against the Sky Blues where he played for 63 minutes before being replaced by academy prospect Andy Dales.

Brayford was an ever-present for Derby this season until suffering his injury prior to the npower Championship fixture at league leaders Cardiff at the beginning of March.

Meanwhile, left-back Gareth Roberts played the full 90 minutes against Coventry as he continues to build up his fitness following a calf problem.

I

still can't see the Phil Jones thing that some people go on about. Whenever I watch him play it's a repeat of headless chicken meets a gurning Bambi on ice for 90 minutes.

P

robably the first list I've come across in a long time where I agree with a large majority of what was written. Can't agree with everything though, Zaba has had an awful season by his standards, I'd put Monreal (a player who I've never rated) up there, gotta give credit where it's due, he's really stepped up his game.
