Clough felt his charges retained their focus in spite of feeling a sense of injustice when Chris O'Grady gave Barnsley the lead.

But after losing against Blackburn on Saturday, Clough was delighted to take something from the match with the Tykes.

"I thought we thoroughly deserved a point, but it really should have been three after the first-half performance," said Clough.

"Our defence has been absolutely superb tonight and we limited Barnsley to just one or two shots all game.

"But the players are extremely disappointed with their goal because there was a blatant foul in the lead-up to it.

"However, on the back of two defeats, I'm really pleased with the effort of the players.

"We were a little bit lethargic at Blackburn and we gave two very soft goals away. But we didn't do that today. If the foul had've been given I don't think we'd have conceded tonight."

enteke is an absolute steal for £32.5m, he would get into any team in the world (except Barcelona) at the moment. I've seen many very good strikers in my 30+ years as a Villa fan. This guy is the best without question.
