Freeman joined the League One club last month on a deal until mid-January but Rams head coach Steve McClaren wants the Wales Under-21 international as part of his squad going into the busy Christmas schedule.

McClaren has opted to recall the full-back in time for the Boxing Day trip to Huddersfield and Freeman reported for training with his Derby team-mates on Tuesday morning.

The 21-year-old has made seven appearances for the Rams this season in all competitions, the last of which came in mid-September against Leicester in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

In total he has made 27 appearances since joining Derby from local rivals Nottingham Forest at the beginning of last season.

Freeman turned out eight time for Notts County during his stint at Meadow Lane.

I

expect Pulis to have a nice Christmas dinner with his family- probably all sitting around the table wearing Christmas themed baseball caps, before he gets the call. Realistically he could end up at any number of clubs, it'll be interesting to see which club folds first.

s a Liverpool fan, I personally hate Palace. My pick would probably be Arsenal, which is funny because it seems the vast majority of their own fans don't even like them right now.
