Craig Bryson: Recovering from a thigh injury

The duo missed Derby's 1-0 win over Bournemouth at the iPro Stadium on Saturday with minor injuries.

But first-team coach Paul Simpson is optimistic Bryson, who has been struggling with a thigh injury, and Ward, who is receiving treatment on a hamstring injury, will both return to training by the end of the week and be available for selection this weekend.

Simpson told the club's website: "We're hopeful of having Craig and Jamie available for Saturday's game.

"We're still very early in the week but they've done some light work already.

"Our preparations will increase as the week progresses and we hope they'll be able to join in training with the rest of the squad in the next few days."

He added: "They're two important players for us so it would be nice to have them back."
