Dave Syers: Month-long loan

Scunthorpe have signed Doncaster midfielder Dave Syers on loan.

Syers will spend the next month with the Iron and he has been named in the starting line-up by manager Brian Laws for the League Two game against Cheltenham at Glanford Park.

The 25-year-old, who joined Rovers from Yorkshire rivals Bradford in the summer of 2012, has found first-team opportunities limited at Doncaster this season.

He has made just three substitute appearances for Paul Dickov's side totalling little more than half an hour of action.
