Peter Houston: Disappointed by fans' reaction

The United boss was reacting to criticism which came from the stands before his side completed their spirited fight-back thanks to captain Jon Daly's header in injury-time, denying rivals Kilmarnock third place in the SPL.

Houston said: "There was some stick coming from the supporters which I have to say was a bit disappointing considering how we played overall.

"We played some really good football and scored some goals to match. I expect a bit more support to be honest when you see 11 guys out there fighting for the cause the way they did.

"They always give everything and are a very honest bunch of players. I asked them at half-time to show a wee bit of character and they certainly did.

"I felt we were totally dominant in the second-half which speaks volumes for the lads' attitude.

"We got the goals which we deserved and to come from 2-0 down against a side like Killie isn't an easy thing to do."
