Vignal moved to Tannadice from Athens side Atromitos in September but has not played a game for Peter Houston's side.

The 31-year-old has featured for a number of British clubs in the past, including Liverpool, Rangers, Portsmouth, Southampton and Birmingham.

But Vignal has now left Dundee United with the club seventh in the SPL table.
