Southgate has picked a 25-man squad for the two games and has included two new faces with Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse and Tottenham defender Ezekiel Fryers both called up for the first time.
One notable absentee is Everton midfielder Ross Barkley who has been included in Roy Hodgson's senior squad but there is a return to the squad for Manchester United's Nick Powell, who has not featured for the U21s since November 2012.
