You would have thought he would have learnt his lesson by now. We all get to watch his dives back in glorious slow mo HD, as does he when he gets home I presume. The refs are still not great at spotting a dive, but that dragging the leg along the ground looking for a touch is now being punished regularly. You would have thought he would have been smart enough to realise that the game is up with that tactic at least. The ref called out two blatant dives, one for each side, and in both cases he was absolutely spot on. Maybe his desire to be the new Ronaldo means he feels he has to go through a serious diving period, as ronnie did? Stop it Gareth, you dont need to do this and lets face it people are really starting to mark you a diver now. Keep this up and it will seriously damage your reputation as one of the best in the world.

Inter suffered due to our aerial game??? I think they suffered due to our pace and movement! When Scotty Parker is breaking through your midfield and defence you've got problems!

It's good that he'll clear his cards and could probably do with a rest anyway but he shouldn't have dived. Whereas he has been unfairly carded in the BPL past (due to his rep and the speed he goes past people), last night was a dive and he needs to stop it.
