Seamus Coleman: Enjoying time in the team

The 24-year-old began his first-team career in the back four before he was moved forward by manager David Moyes.

Tony Hibbert's continued absence from the side has allowed Coleman to play the last nine matches at right-back and he is relishing another extended stay in the starting line-up.

"I've really enjoyed this run," the Republic of Ireland international, who hopes to be involved against Greece on Wednesday, told evertontv.

"It's been a while really since I've played there for Everton; probably the last time I had a run of games there was when I was (on loan) at Blackpool.

"I need to keep doing well because there are some good players who will be wanting to come in.

"It's different playing at right-back but I've always said it's my natural position and it's where I played at Sligo before I came over and then at Blackpool."
