Salomon Kalou: Staying at Lille in January, says Garcia

Kalou joined the Ligue 1 side from Chelsea on a free transfer in the summer and is under contract there until 2016.

But the Ivory Coast frontman has reportedly struggled to settle at the French club, scoring just three goals in 17 appearances.

Speculation has surfaced suggesting he could return to the Premier League in January, with new QPR boss Harry Redknapp thought to be keen, while Everton and West Ham have also been linked.

However, Garcia insists he has no desire to part with the 27-year-old next month but wants the striker to be more decisive in his play.

He told L'Equipe: "It was big buzz. I want to keep everyone and if we could hire an additional forward it would be better.

"I talked to Salomon and I told him what I just told you.

"He is a man of great value who has huge potential. But indeed we expect him to be more decisive."
