Vidal, who can play anywhere across the midfield or up front, caught the eye at Almeria last season.

The 24-year-old scored six goals and had five assists in 38 La Liga games last season and his club are bracing themselves for summer interest.

Premier League quartet West Ham, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Everton are all thought to be keeping tabs on Vidal's situation.

However, they could face competition for the player's signature with Sevilla, Valencia and Villarreal all keen to keep the attacker in Spain.
